Introducing the new Swap
Flying Tulip’s new Swap brings wallet swaps, collateral swaps and limit orders into one interface. If your assets are already deposited, you can swap them within the same margin account you use for Lend, Trade and TRS. This lets you change your collateral without withdrawing it to your wallet. You can now also swap supported tokens directly from your wallet without depositing them first.
Flying Tulip doesn’t charge a fee for swaps.
Use Swap with market or limit order, using your wallet balance or platform balance. Set expiration date, earn while you wait.
Limit orders are available for both wallet and account swaps. Choose your tokens, enter an amount and set the price at which you want to trade. With eligible assets supplied to Lend, your money earns yield while the order waits to fill.
The Swap to earn yield option also lets you swap into a supported asset and deposit it into Lend in one go. Once deposited, eligible assets can earn yield or be used as collateral. If you have outstanding debt, your collateral can still be liquidated while an order is pending, so keep an eye on your account health.
The new History page lets you review your swap activity.
Sessions now include a six-digit PIN, which you choose when creating a session and enter to confirm actions such as swaps and limit orders. The PIN is never stored, so if you forget it, you’ll need to create a new session with a new PIN. Three incorrect attempts also clear the session, requiring you to create a new one.
